Environmental game about the forest
I had the chance to participate in a national board game design contest. It was fascinating to create a game that would educate young children about ecology and the importance of maintaining the woods. Apart from developing my researched skills, the contest gave me an insight in manufacturing a new product, since I won and my game was manufactured.
NCE in collaboration with JSC "Latvia’s State Forests" invites to learn about a new exciting board game for schools "Audzēsim mežu!", Created by the Riga State Gymnasium No.1 students Maija Alice Sproģe and Elīza Zelda Zemzare. The game won 1st place in 2012, in the competition "Get to know the environment." The games objective is to create awareness of forest’s biodiversity and sustainablility.
